COVID-19 OFFICE UPDATE
We understand our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want you to know that we are implementing changes to our infection control in our practice to keep you, your child and our staff safe.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. These are some of the changes you can expect from our office the next time you are here:
Scheduling your child's appointment:
• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That means we are limiting the number of patients in the office and extra time will be allocated between appointments to allow for increased disinfection protocols.

Before your scheduled appointment:
• Our office will communicate with you to ask screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
• We are requiring all patients complete their patient registration from home to ensure a touch-less visit. This can be done through our secure HIPAA compliant link sent to your phone via text message or by email.

• Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment time. When you arrive at your appointment park your car and call the office at 305-800-5439 to let us know you are here. We will let you know when to wait at the front door.
• It's important we check your child's temperature using our touchless thermometer and complete a covid screening questionnaire. If any symptoms of coronavirus exist we will ask you to reschedule the appointment. We will also be checking the temperature of the accompanying adult if entering the office.
• For children aged 7 and above, we ask parents/siblings to wait in their car during their childs appointment.
• For children aged 6 and younger, or those with special health needs, one parent may accompany them into the office. Parent will be asked to wait in the reception area.
• Per CDC guidelines we are asking all people entering the office to wear face coverings. Please bring your own face cover.
